FLINT, MI. (WJRT) – One of the more hotly-contested races in mid-Michigan is the 8th Congressional U.S. House District.
Democrat Kristen McDonald Rivet is facing Republican Paul Junge.
But they are not the only ones in the race.
There are four other people, including the Green Party candidate.
He does not live in Michigan. In fact, he does not live in the United States, but the Secretary of State office says, he can still run for the seat.
“I know, isn’t that great to give up my universal health care to come down to Michigan,” says Jim Casha on his quest to win a seat in the U.S. House.
Casha is the Green Party candidate for the 8th Congressional U.S. House seat.
