BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – First Alert AccuTrack shows a partly cloudy and hazy sky across Central Alabama as we head into the evening thanks to a passing disturbance and the Canadian wildfire smoke drifting all the way down to the Southeast. We have a First Alert for more smoke filtering into the state potentially through the early part of the work week. Right now, the smoke is high enough up in the atmosphere that it shouldn’t have a major impact on air quality; however, the hazy sky can also make for some vivid sunrises and sunsets, so make sure to submit any cool photos on the WBRC First Alert Weather App!
