Canadians are canceling American vacations in protest against Donald Trump‘s aggressive policies against their country. 

Residents of The Maple Leaf nation, which is home to more than 40 million people, said they won’t be taking a trip to the US for the next four years. 

Some Canadians said they’re boycotting America because they’re concerned they’ll have issues crossing the border, while for others it’s a matter of principle as part of the Liberal Party’s ‘elbows up’ campaign against Trump’s tariffs and annexation threats. 

Canadians have long been the top international travelers to the US. Even a 10 percent drop in their travel spending could cost the American economy $2 billion and result in 14,000 job losses, according to the US Travel Association.
