Canadians stranded in U.S. with adopted kids get good news [Video]

Getting a response from Immigration Canada was such a big deal that Stephen Ney barged into the bathroom with his two sons in tow to break the news to his wife, Hyo Jeong Ney, who was changing.

It’s an email with “Grants of Citizenship” in the title — news that the Canadian couple had been waiting for since they first started the citizenship process for their adopted children in Sierra Leone in 2020.
