The highly anticipated Ribfest will not be taking place in 2025.
Organizers from the Rotary Club were forced to search for a new venue after losing access to Clarington Fields due to the construction of the South Bowmanville Recreation Centre. Unfortunately, they were unable to secure a suitable location in time.
“We regret to announce that we will not be hosting a Ribfest in 2025 due to the loss of the Clarington Fields location,” the club said in a statement. “While we are actively working to find a new home for the beloved event, we have made the difficult decision that we cannot proceed with Ribfest in 2025 until we secure a suitable venue.”
The Rocking Rotary Ribs & Brews Ribfest has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors and raised more than $1.5 million for local charities since the first event on Canadas Day in 2008. Ribfest moved to its …
