MORE SMOKY SKIES: Skies remain a bit hazy on Monday, but we are expecting enough sunshine. With more smoke in the lower levels of the atmosphere, that is going to lead to lower air quality, especially during the afternoon. Those with respiratory ailments should really reduce time spent outdoors.

The heat is going to build during the week. Highs in the middle 80s on Monday with temperatures around 90 Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday, Friday and through the weekend, more scattered showers and storms are in the forecast. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible
