Nissan SUVs recalled for potential brake failureNissan has recalled several of its SUVs due to a possible manufacturing defect in the front brake calipers. According to Transport Canada, the calipers may have been improperly made, which could lead to cracking and reduced braking power.
Safety risk: If the calipers fail, it could lead to longer stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash.
Nissan will notify affected owners and ask them to bring their vehicles to a dealership for inspection. If needed, the front brake calipers will be replaced at no cost.
