Police have charged a Brampton truck driver who pinned a car underneath a tractor-trailer in an Ontario town.

The collision happened on Wednesday at the intersection of Belsyde Avenue and St. David Street South in Fergus, around 20 kilometres north of Guelph.

Officers with the Wellington County OPP were parked at the intersection for an unrelated investigation they spotted a tractor-trailer “dragging a vehicle underneath” as it was making a turn.

A picture of the crash shared by police shows a white semi-truck making a right-handed turn with a black sedan wedged underneath the tractor-trailer.

No one was injured in the collision but police say the 40-year-old truck driver from Brampton was charged with unsafe move – lane or shoulder.
