COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Celebrate American Indian Heritage Week at North Idaho College this week!

From March 24 – 28, NIC will host a variety of events showcasing the culture and history of Native peoples. 

“For current students as well as lifelong learnings, this annual event provides an opportunity to dig into the current achievements and concerns of our Native American communities,” said Amy Bardwell, American Indian Student Advisor. “This year, I’m glad we get to hear from departments of the local Coeur d’Alene Tribe that are making valuable contributions in our region.” 

The week’s events will range from cultural events with the opportunity to try tradition food, to workshops on language and art.
