RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The first ever Reno Air Show is taking flight this weekend at the Reno-Stead airport. Starting tonight with a Twilight/Night show at 4:00pm, this air show will continue through the weekend with flights taking place from 10:00am to 4:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
The air show will feature several flights from first class civilian acts to even two renowned military jet teams, the United States Navy Blue Angels and the Canadian Royal Air Force Snowbirds.
These teams are about as excited to participate in the air show as the patrons are for attending this event, “Basically we fly the CT1-14 Tutor aircraft, which used to be one of our trainer aircraft and we do presentations all over North America. Just to inspire people to pursue their dreams and look at aviation as a career option”, shares Phil Rochon the Public Affairs officer for the Canadian Forces Snowbirds.
