Chick-fil-A is set to broaden its Canadian footprint by opening five to seven new restaurants in British Columbia by 2030. This expansion follows the brand’s successful entry into Alberta in 2024, where three new locations were launched in Calgary and Edmonton.

What we know:

The first British Columbia location is anticipated to open by late 2027 or early 2028. In addition to this, Chick-fil-A plans to open a record eight restaurants across Ontario and Alberta in 2025, marking the highest number of openings in a single year since the brand’s Canadian debut in 2019. Over the past five years, Chick-fil-A has established 22 restaurants in Canada.

Each new British Columbia location is expected to employ 80-120 people, contributing to the thousands already working at Chick-fil-A restaurants in Ontario and Alberta. The company is also committed to community support, continuing its tradition of donating $25,000 to Second Harvest, a major Canadian food rescue organization, …
