TORONTO Raptors fans joined in on a growing trend in Canada to boo the American national anthem at sporting events.

The Raptors are following a trend established by the NHL’s Canadian teams.

Boos rained down during the Star Spangled Banner on Saturday night in Ottawa, Ontario, and Calgary just hours after President Donald Trump announced his tariffs on Canada.

Toronto Raptors fans followed suit on Sunday during their game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Crowd initially cheered for the 15-year-old singer in Toronto.

However, she was soon drowned out by the fans booing through the entire performance.

After her performance, the crowd exploded in applause for the Canadian anthem.

Fans also booed later in the night when the Star Spangled Banner was played …
