COLDER AND BLUSTERY TODAY… THEN, TWO BOUTS OF SNOW THROUGH THURSDAY [Video]

Colder weather is seeping into northeast Wisconsin. Today’s temperatures will hold fairly steady in the low to middle 30s. West winds will be a bit blustery, with gusts over 20 mph. That will keep our wind chills in the 20s for most of the day.

A quick-moving front will bring us a round of snow showers tonight. Most areas will see less than an inch. However, the fresh coating of new fallen snow may create slick spots for tomorrow morning’s drive to work.

We have issued a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY for Thursday. A fast-moving “Alberta Clipper” will produce a swath of snow across northeast Wisconsin. Most locations will see 2-5”, but due to some uncertainty on the exact path of this weathermaker, we might need to adjust our preliminary snowfall forecast.
