OVERNIGHT – FRIDAY: Between Wednesday and Thursday, much of our region saw 0.25″ to 0.5″ of rain, as rain showers rolled through our region. Lingering showers will break up overnight, as low-pressure systems roll east of our region, taking the moisture with them. As a result, we’re looking at partly sunny skies by the morning and afternoon hours, with clearing skies by late evening. This means expect plenty of filtered sunshine. All the while, morning lows will be in the upper-30s and afternoon highs will be in the mid-to-upper-50s, i.e. a seasonably cool start to the month of May. Overall, Friday ends the workweek on a cool, decent note.
