Costco wine prices compared to the LCBO [Video]

Costco recently began selling alcohol in Ontario as part of the final phase of the province’s sale expansion.

All Costco locations in Ontario now offer beer, wine, and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages for sale.

INsauga.com visited a Burlington Costco to take a look at wine prices and compare them to the LCBO.

It’s important to note that alcohol prices listed at Costco do not include either the tax or deposit, while prices at the LCBO — both online and in-store — include both. As a result, in this article we have added the 13 per cent HST and then the deposit to the price listed at Costco for an easier comparison to the LCBO.
