Crime spree in Manitoba leads to arrest of men from Brampton and Surrey, B.C. [Video]

A Brampton man along with three others face several charges following a crime spree in Manitoba where businesses were targeted.

According to police, investigators learned that a group of heavily armed men planned to carry out a robbery at a business in the City of Brandon, MB located two-and-a-half hours west of Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg Police Service Tactical Support Team were waiting for the suspects and when they arrived they were taken into custody without incident.

Police believe the crew is responsible for other crimes in the province including those in Winnipeg and in rural communities of Teulon, St. Laurent and the Swan Lake First Nation. The robberies had all occurred between Feb. 7 and Feb. 14.
