Crime Stoppers received 832 tips in Regina last year [Video]

Regina Crime Stoppers received a total of 832 tips in 2024, many of which pertained to drug related crimes.

Of the 832 tips, 22 per cent were connected to drug related crimes, a Regina police news release said.

Seventeen per cent pertained to property related crimes such as theft, mischief and break and enters. Another seven per cent of tips were for wanted criminals, six per cent for traffic crimes, five per cent for violent crimes such as murders and assaults and five per cent for weapons related offences.

A total of 38 per cent of tips were in regard to other matters not listed above.
