Alaska Native people representing tribes from across the state descended upon the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage Monday to share culture and stories, and to reconnect.This year marks the 41st annual statewide Elders and Youth Conference, which happened to coincide with Indigenous Peoples’ Day, recognized each year on Oct. 14.
