Cyclist in serious condition after being struck by vehicle in Ontario city [Video]

A cyclist was transported to a Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on the east side of downtown Oshawa Monday afternoon.

Durham Police said the collision happened at Athol Street and Drew Street and the intersection is currently closed for the investigation.

Police are asking drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area.
