FORT ST. JOHN –The stage is set for a pivotal debate tonight at The Lido in Fort St. John, where incumbent MLA Dan Davies will face off against BC Conservative candidate Jordan Kealy.
It follows a recent debate in Fort Nelson, giving both candidates a preview of the issues.
The debate will focus on key issues affecting Peace River North, including healthcare, crime, First Nations relationships, and the concerns of seniors and affordability.
During the last debate, both candidates presented similar approaches to these topics. However, Davies emphasized his experience and the unique impact he could have in the legislature as an independent, while Kealy argued that a Conservative majority would bring faster and more consistent results.
The event kicks off at 7:00 p.m., with doors opening to the public at 6:00 p.m.
