The Saugeen Shores Police Service (SSPS) is warning the public of the dangers of ice after someone fell through.
The incident took place on Thursday. Police received reports that a person was in distress after falling through the ice at the Chesley Street River access point in Saugeen Shores.
Officers said the person got out safely and didn’t need any medical attention.
Police made a post sharing the details, outlining that no ice is safe ice and to always stay off.
