FORT NELSON –The first all candidates debate in the riding of Peace River North took place in Fort Nelson Thursday.
Dan Davies and Jordan Kealy going head-to-head in an attempt to sway voters ahead of the October 19 election.
Kealy emphasized his commitment to fixing what he sees as a broken system in B.C., stating, “I have to try and fix when I see something that’s broken, and right now, our system is broken.”
Davies, on the other hand, voiced his determination to maintain control over decisions affecting his career after the BC United folded their campaign, declaring, “I’ll be damned if someone in Vancouver, in a boardroom, is going to be making decisions for what the rest of my career looks like, as well as what is going to be happening in the Northeast.”
