Police have issued a public warning after a violent home invasion in Ontario.

The announcement came yesterday (Mar. 6) through York Regional Police, where police stated that a suspect is still at large after a home invasion in the Town of Aurora.

On Mar. 6, around 11 a.m., officers were called to a residence near Murray Drive and Kennedy Street for a home invasion.

Police indicated that at the time of the incident, the female victim responded to her door after she heard a series of aggressive knocking.

As the front door opened, a male suspect then forced their way into the home, police say.

A second victim — who at the time was in the residence — attempted to intervene and was then violently assaulted by the suspect.

Police have stated that the suspect then fled the scene on foot, with no demands for money or valuables made during …
