A New Brunswick man who sold large amounts of fentanyl to an undercover officer 16 times was convicted Monday, authorities said.
Kenneth Strickland, 57, was found guilty following an eight-day trial of one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl and 100 grams or more of heroin, and five counts of distribution and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of New Jersey announced Tuesday.
From Nov. 12, 2019, through June 30, 2020, Strickland was a member of a drug trafficking organization responsible for selling bulk quantities of fentanyl in Paterson, New Brunswick, and other areas of the state, according to a release from the office.
