It looks like some varied weather is on the way for southern Ontario, bringing snow, freezing rain and brisk winds.
Early risers hoping for a colourful morning sky during Sunday’s 7:44 a.m. sunrise will be out of luck, with clouds expected to block the view.
Ontario residents will wake up to mainly cloudy skies, with rain and snow expected to begin in the morning and continue into the afternoon.
Wind speed will pick up to 15 km/h in Hamilton and Halton, while 20 km/h winds will be felt in Mississauga, Brampton and Durham Region.
Daytime highs will vary across the region, starting with morning wind chills ranging from -7 C to -9 C. Later in the day, temperatures will rise above freezing to 2 C in Mississauga, Brampton and Durham, 3 C in Hamilton, and 1 C in Halton.
