It’s time for another Made in Manitoba, and we’re welcoming back a long-time friend Winnipeg’s Don Amero. He’s joining us ahead of the release of his new EP “Broken Record: Part 1 – Heart”, and with a title like that there seems to be a promise the music and lyrics will hit you right in the heart.

During our conversation, Don will touch on how the lyrics are some of the most vulnerable and authentic he’s ever written. The album also sees him be more forthcoming and open about his Faith, something he’s not shy talking about, but has been guarded about, sometimes, in the past. 

His hope is some of the songs say, ‘It’s okay to wrestle with faith’, even when you believe in something grander than yourself, it doesn’t mean you have it all figured out.
