Donald Trump cut off Keir Starmer mid-sentence as he told a reporter “that’s enough” in a heated press conference moment.
Sir Keir accused reporters of attempting to drive a wedge between him and the President by raising questions over Mr Trump’s pledge to make Canada the 51st state of the US.
“You mentioned Canada, you’re trying trying to find a divide between us that doesn’t exist. We’re the closest of nations and we had very good discussions today,” the UK leader said.
The President then cut the reporter off by saying “that’s enough”.
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has suggested Mr Trump floated the idea of taking over Canada and making it the “51st state” because he wants to access the country’s critical minerals.
