Premier Doug Ford has ordered his cabinet ministers to get government announcements out by Tuesday to clear the decks for an election call the following day.

Ford will be in Brampton Friday morning with Transportation Minister Prabmeet Sarkaria to tout the tunnelling of a section of the next phase of the Hazel McCallion Line LRT, which runs along Hurontario Street from the Port Credit GO station to the Gateway Terminal.
