KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City woman was taken to the hospital on Monday after her car ended up stuck on a guardrail following a crash.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash at 7:05 a.m. on May 26.
A Kansas City, Missouri, woman was driving on a southbound Interstate 29 ramp onto northbound Interstate 35 when she went off the right side of the road for unknown reasons. Her 2001 GMC Yukon hit the guardrail and went mostly over, tipping onto its front and coming to a rest at a diagonal.
Paramedics took the 63-year-old woman to North Kansas City Hospital with moderate injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The GMC was totaled, and traffic on the ramp had to be temporarily stopped while it was removed from the guardrail.
