A drug trafficking investigation called Project Cortex as led to several arrests after police raided homes in Burlington, Oakville and Grimsby.
The four-month-long investigation by Halton Regional Police took them to several jurisdictions where the raids were carried out. As a result guns, ammunition, cocaine, Fentanyl, crystal meth and large amounts of cash were found.
Four people have since been arrested.
Ahmad Hassan, 34, of Oakville faces several drug trafficking charges; Suber Liban, 25, of Grimsby has been charged with drug trafficking and possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition; Sarah Andersen, 43, of Burlington has been charged with drug trafficking; and Duvontaye Gray, 29, of Grimsby has been charged with drug trafficking.
Police are continuing their investigation.
