Three people are facing drug trafficking charges after a police raid at a home in Prince Edward Island.
Multiple units of the RCMP searched a home in Anglo Tignish, P.E.I., on Wednesday.
During the search, police say officers seized:
- approximately 1.5 kg of suspected methamphetamines
- approximately 40 grams of suspected cocaine
- cash
- a rifle, bear spray, mace, and other weapons
A vehicle was also seized as property related to the offence, according to a news release from the RCMP.
Donna Gavin, 43, Brayden McGuigan, 22, and Gerry Lee McGuigan, 43, have been charged with:
- possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
- possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
- possession of a firearm without a valid licence
- unsafe storage of a firearm
Gavin and Gerry Lee McGuigan are also facing charges of breach of probation.
