Dump truck crash closes Manning Road [Video]

Essex County OPP say a 61-year-old Kingsville man has died after a crash involving a dump truck in Tecumseh.

Police, Lakeshore Fire Rescue and Essex-Windsor EMS responded to the two-vehicle collision on Manning Road near Baseline Road at 11:59 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say one driver was transported to hospital and was later pronounced deceased.

Manning Road was closed between County Road 42 and Walls Road while members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team assisted with the investigation, but has since reopened.

The investigation is continuing, anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Tecumseh OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
