Mike Horner is here to tell you Hamilton did not escape unscathed from the storm bursts that infamously submerged parts of Burlington, London and Toronto this week.

The Dundas resident spent Wednesday salvaging keepsakes from the “almost total loss” of his Lowe Court finished basement, which flooded — alongside many of his neighbours’ homes — during a short, but intense rainstorm two days earlier.
