Earth Day Brings Wind and Rain Chances! [Video]

MONDAY – TUESDAY: Monday morning will start the work week with mostly cloudy skies and morning lows in the upper-30s to low-40s. A few showers will also push through northeastern ND and northern MN during the late morning and afternoon hours, as a low-pressure system makes its way from Canada down to the Great Lakes. Those areas will see isolated showers throughout the day, meaning on-again, off-again raindrops for those locations. The rain showers move out by Tuesday morning, leaving about a tenth of an inch of rain in northeastern ND and northern MN. Thereafter, Tuesday afternoon will be partly sunny, with highs in the 50s.

One other issue to look out for is a fire risk in portions of ND, especially in areas not seeing rain. The James River Basin and the southern Red River Valley in North Dakota are under a Red Flag Warning from midday to 8 PM, as humidity …
