After a really warm weekend, temperatures will stay on the mild side for one more day. Cooler air starts to dig in Tuesday.
Edmonton hit highs of 5 C Saturday and 1 C on Sunday.
Morning temperatures today are right around 0 C with a narrow band of light snow moving through parts of the region early.
That precipitation should slip off to the southeast by mid-morning at the latest and temperatures will continue to hover near the freezing mark through the morning and early afternoon.
But, a cooler airmass drops in over the coming days. Not COLD…but back to around average for early/mid December.
Mornings will be in the -9 C to -12 C range and afternoon will be in the -4 C to -8 C range. There’s a brief warm up for Friday before turning slightly colder for the coming weekend and next week.
