Statutory holidays in Ontario provide a chance for rest, reflection and celebration!
Most government offices, schools and banks remain closed on these days, while some businesses, such as retail stores and restaurants, may stay open with modified hours.
According to Ontario.ca, many employees are also entitled to time off with public holiday pay or, in some cases, additional compensation if they are required to work.
