Expanded hospital, new long-term care home coming to Ontario community [Video]

Uxbridge will be getting a new 192-bed long-term care home, part of an $8.9 million investment from the province for the redevelopment and expansion of the hospital site.

The funding will allow hospital operator Oak Valley Health to begin early works to ready the site for the creation of a larger, state-of-the-art space to expand services and ensure the hospital can continue to meet the needs of the township’s growing community. The next stage of the project includes the construction of the east portion of the north service road, the building of a retaining wall and re-grading work.
