Fashion expert and entrepreneur revealed as Ontario homicide victim [Video]

An entrepreneur who specialized in custom tailored menswear has been revealed as the homicide victim found in downtown Oakville.

Halton Regional Police say Baljeet ‘Bally’ Toki, 43, was found dead in his shop Montagio Custom Tailoring on Lakehsore Road on Saturday (March 22).

Initial reports indicated the death was deemed suspicious, and now police have called in its Major Crime Unit to investigate.

At this time, police have not revealed the cause of death but believe Toki’s death was an isolated incident and that there is no known threat to public safety.

Investigators are canvassing the downtown area of Oakville for witnesses and surveillance video between the times of 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police are especially seeking video footage from the area between Trafalgar Road and Navy Street, north of William Street and south of Randall Street.
