The death of a Mississauga man killed in a crash linked to street racing in Brampton has led to charges for an Ontario man.
Peel Regional Police say the “serious” collision happened near Steeles Avenue and Finch Avenue in Brampton in the early hours of Nov. 24.
It was around 12:30 a.m. when police got a call about the crash and arrived on the scene to find a vehicle had collided with street lights while another sat heavily damaged at the intersection.
Six people were injured in the collision and one of the victims, a man from Mississauga, was later pronounced dead, police say.
