More snow is expected to hit southern Ontario and the GTA on Thursday but nowhere near the amounts seen over the last week.

Environment Canada says there’s a 40 per cent chance of flurries in the morning in Mississauga, Brampton and Hamilton turning into periods of “light” snow.

Conditions may be slightly better in Toronto with a 30 per cent chance of flurries and a 70 per cent chance of light snow by noon.

Daytime temperatures will hover around -7 C but will feel more like -17 C or -19 C with the wind chill, the agency says.

Into the evening you can expect cloudy conditions with another 40 per cent chance of flurries into Friday morning with winds gusting up to 40 km/h.
