There’s rain in the forecast but no snow and above-average temperatures expected in southern Ontario on Tuesday.

Environment Canada says the above-average temperatures experienced on Monday in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto and much of southern Ontario will continue into Tuesday.

Mississauga and the GTA can expect a daytime high of around 6 C, while the seasonal average sits at around 1 C.

The day will start with a 30 per cent chance of showers or drizzle in the morning, with fog patches clearing up by the afternoon.

Into the evening you can expect more rain and drizzle clearing up before midnight with winds up to 15 km/h and an overnight low that will feel like -8 C with the wind chill.

The warmer weather will stick around but the snow will also returnwhen a low-pressure system will track into southwestern Ontario, reaching the GTA by Wednesday evening and Ottawa on Thursday …
