There’s wet weather in the forecast for Thursday with snow and rain expected across southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the day will start with periods of snow in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and Toronto but should die down around noon.
But there’s more precipitation expected in the afternoon with a 40 per cent chance of showers or flurries with snowfall up to 2 cm in Mississauga.
And there will be little reprieve in the evening with more rain and flurries, the agency says.
Toronto Pearson Airport officials said they are expecting two to five cm of snow at the airport. Pickering, Oshawa and Durham Region are also in for some snow with around 5 cm expected during the day.
