There’s up to 15 cm of snow on the way for some areas and up to 10 cm in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto and much of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says Friday will start with snow across the GTA with between 5 to 10 cm of snowfall in the morning.

In Mississauga you can expect relatively mild temperatures with a daytime high of around 1 C that will feel more like -11 C with the wind chill.

Into the evening the snow is expected to die down but there’s a 40 per cent chance of rain and flurries with winds blowing around 20 km/h gusting up to 50 km/h, the agency says.

The temperature will be a low of -7 C in the evening dropping to around -12 C with the wind chill overnight.
