Winter isn’t letting up just yet, with snowstorms piling on back-to-back. As the weekend wraps up in southern Ontario, residents will see blustery winds, frigid temperatures and lingering flurries to keep the wintry trend going.

For those hoping to catch Sunday’s 7:22 a.m. sunrise will likely be left disappointed, as it will be hidden behind cloudy skies.

Residents in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton, Hamilton and Durham will wake up to overcast skies with light flurries, which are expected to end by late morning.

Morning temperatures will feel pretty cold, with wind chills ranging from -8 C to minus -10 C.

There’s a 60 per cent chance of snow returning by midday, bringing gusty 40 km/h winds to Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Hamilton. Durham will get a slightly tamer breeze at 20 km/h.

Daytime highs will gradually rise, reaching 1 C in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Durham, while Hamilton will stay just below freezing at -1 C.
