Federal judge blocks part of Trump’s anti-trans executive order [Video]

Three trans inmates said the policy violates their protections against cruel and unusual punishment, claiming an increased risk of violence and sexual assault.

The order is similar to two bills currently in Georgia’s legislature.

A judge Wednesday threw out a felony indictment against a former Georgia prosecutor, ending her trial on charges that she abused her power.

In Georgia, the cut would directly affect Title I public schools who heavily rely on federal funding.

According to the Movement Advancement Project, more than half of U.S. states have passed legislation banning or restricting who can participate in sports.

“Canadians are perplexed,” said the country’s U.S. ambassador, Kirsten Hillman. “We view ourselves as your neighbor, your closest friend, your ally.”
