Convergence Music & Arts Festival

Move over the ‘City in Motion’ and the ‘Motor City,’ Oshawa is now the ‘Festival City’ of Durham Region after five of its major events made Festivals & Events Ontario’s Top 100 list.

For the Peony Festival, this was the thirteenth straight year the popular event has made the list. For the Convergence Music & Arts Festival, it’s their debut on the list after just its second year of existence.

“This recognition highlights the creativity and dedication that make Oshawa’s arts and culture scene so dynamic,” a statement from the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce read. “This festival and this win are #communitymade.”
