A fire destroyed thousands of dollars worth of property and memorabilia at the London Cricket Club.
Cricket club officials say the fire broke out early Thursday morning at their facility on Adelaide Street.
The club’s president says roughly $100,000 in equipment and memorabilia – dating back more than a century – were lost.
He said it’s not clear how it started. but it looks suspicious.
“From what I can see it looks like it’s been soaked in gasoline and lit on fire. I don’t have any doubt that this was done intentionally, and I think it’s quite likely this was actually done targeting us,” said Sean Mitchell of the London Cricket Club.
