The Middleton-Star Fire Department removed a door, freeing one person who was trapped, before providing medical care to five other people injured at the scene.
MIDDLETON, Idaho — Firefighters extracted a trapped victim in less than eight minutes following a multiple-vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of Can-Ada Road and Highway 44 on Sunday.
The Middleton-Star Fire Department responded to the accident at 5:46 p.m., according to the department. Crews removed a door to free one person who was trapped before providing emergency medical care to five other people injured at the scene.
Firefighters said they continued treatment until Ada County Paramedics arrived. The roadway remained blocked throughout the incident response.
Units responding included Ladder 51, Engine 52 and Battalion Chief 51, along with Ada County Paramedics.
