Over the coming days we trend even warmer, also muggier! The peak of the heat comes tomorrow, which we have declared a *First Alert Weather Day* as we’re expect our 1st 90° day of the year (inland). While we’re dry through midweek, our sky will become increasingly hazy thanks to Canadian wildfire smoke aloft. Rain/storm chances increase heading into the weekend as a cold front approaches and slowly moves through the region (perhaps stalling). The weekend won’t be a washout, as Sunday still appears drier and brighter!

From Meteorologist Scot Haney in the Channel 3 First Alert Weather Center…

Today, 6/4/25: Hazy sunshine. Warmer, a bit muggier. An Air Quality Alert is in effect for most of the state, due to elevated ground level ozone (impacting those in sensitive groups). High: 88 inland, 79 shore.

Tonight: Mainly clear. Mild. Low: 62.
