This morning is starting mild with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 70s. Additionally, I’d like to note that patchy, dense fog has developed in a few communities.
THE NEXT 24: This afternoon, the sky will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid- and upper 80s.
You may also notice a hazy sky thanks to the Canadian wildfire smoke drifting down to the Southeast. Right now, the smoke is high enough in the atmosphere that it shouldn’t have a major impact on air quality; however, the hazy sky can also make for some vivid sunrises and sunsets, so make sure to submit any cool photos on the WBRC First Alert Weather app and at WBRC.com/pix!
